Micronesia’s region covers about 1,245 square miles and the ocean area 4.5 million square. Although most have not heard of Micronesia this vast region includes lush tropical islands scattered between Hawaii and the Philippines. There is a variety of activities to do on each of the islands to satisfy everyone’s wish list!
Micronesia has more than 2000 islands and atolls scattered between Hawaii and the Philippine Islands. Travelers are lured to this region due to the lush rainforests, warm tropical seas and exotic sea life. Many of the islands unique and ancient cultural traditions offer tourist unique glimpses of unspoiled lands.
Micronesia is a Greek word meaning “little islands”. This region offers world class diving, century old ruins and foods seen in no other region.
Located in the western Pacific just north of the equator, Micronesia is made of four regions: Republic of Palau, commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and Guam.
Climate:
The weather in this region is tropical, sunny, rainy then sunny again! Temperatures never get above 87F – 90F and never get below 70F-72F. It is summer all year long.
