People:
Fijians are a colorful people filled with interests in music, dance, family, food, crafts and their love for sports…rugby. The majority of the islanders are a mix of Fijian and Indian. The Fijian cuisine is a fusion of flavors of both the cultures, the coconut and root vegetables of the Fijians and the spices and curries of the Indians. When you visit the local market you can smell the aroma of the Indian spices. Although the country has a combination of both native Fijians and Indians it is an English Speaking nation.
